Dr. Rand is proud to offer the Exosome P Shot. This revolutionary new treatment uses exosome therapy to repair nerves and boost blood supply, improving his patients’ sexual function, sensation, arousal and performance.
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles on stem cells. These tiny sacs deliver protein, RNA and mRNA (messenger RNA) that in turn, prompts other cells to produce proteins and repair damaged cells within the body.
Benefits of exosomes over stem cells:
- Exosomes are small enough that they can carry multiple doses of proteins and platelets through your bloodstream into penile tissue that whole cells have trouble accessing.
- By injecting only exosome vesicles you avoid potential risks from cellular DNA or stem cells
- One 5cc P-Shot vial contains over 5 billion exosomes – it’s impossible to get that many stem cells in a single shot

Exosomes Are Safe
For decades, biologists have used exosomes in both diagnostic and preventative therapies. When Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) produce exosomes, they help reduce inflammation, a leading cause of autoimmune issues.
Clinical studies have also proven that exosomes help you grow fresh, new blood vessels, more effectively than stem cells.
Diabetes is one of the leading causes of erectile dysfunction. It damages nerves and blood supply, making it harder to get and maintain an erection. Dr. Rand’s exosome therapy can boost blood supply and help you fight erectile dysfunction caused by diabetes and other underlying health issues. Studies in The Journal of Sexual Medicine show that exosome therapy can relieve erectile dysfunction caused by diabetes.
Another study from 2018, indicated that exosome treatment greatly improved ED as a result of cavernous nerve injury (CNI). The therapy prevented cellular death in the bulk of penis tissue and enhances smooth muscle and collagen content.
How Exosome Therapy Works
Exosome therapy and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) are often used together as natural methods to restore healthy blood flow to the penis. When injected together, Exosomes and PRP encourage repair and rehabilitation of the penis. Results are much stronger because PRP supplies nutrients and growth factors for the exosome product. Most importantly, the procedure is comfortable and pain-free thanks to the use of a local anesthetic.
What’s the difference between exosomes and stem cells?
Stem cells are “blank” cells and can potentially develop into different types of other cells. On the other hand, exosomes are like worker bees and carry important biological information to cells. Since exosomes do not contain stem cells it is believed they don’t carry the risks of immune rejection or tumor growth.
Who can benefit from exosome therapy?
In addition to erectile dysfunction, exosome therapy can be used to treat the following conditions:
- Autoimmune disorders
- Chronic inflammation
- Degenerative illness
- Fibromyalgia pain
- Lyme disease
When you visit P-Shot specialist Dr. Rand at Healthy Aging Medical Center, we will assess your medical history and concerns to help you choose the perfect therapies for maximum results.
How long does it take to see results?
Exosome therapy provides long-lasting results for symptoms of erectile dysfunction. Patients typically begin to see results in 6 to 10 weeks and see the full benefit within four months. Results typically last one year and Dr. Rand can discuss a maintenance plan to ensure you continue to see results long after treatment.
How safe are Exosomes?
Dr. Rand’s exosome therapy does not contain stem cells, and therefore, does not contain genetic material (DNA) from someone else. This reduces the risk of adverse effects. As with any injection, you may experience discomfort, swelling, bruising or infection. While uncommon, a small percentage of patients may experience more serious side effects including headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, and changes in energy levels. These side effects are often temporary and typically last less than 24 hours but may last up to three days.
